Is there any parking?
Is there any internet access in the hotel?
Do we need a reservation to eat at your restaurant?
A reservation for the hotel restaurant is not required, but we highly recommend it; especially during peak times.
Do you have a gym?
Yes. All guests of Le Gaspésiana have access to our gym. You are welcomed to use the treadmill, stationary bike or elliptical trainer.
Do you have an indoor/outdoor pool?
We do not have a swimming pool at the Hotel Gaspésiana but we are a few steps from the sea! You have access to the sea from our hotel and you can swim there.

How can I be informed of all your promotions?

Is the hotel located near the water?
Yes. Le Gaspésiana is located right on the shore of the St. Lawrence River.
Is your hotel pet friendly?
Pets are allowed at the hotel for an additional fee of $20/stay.
However, animals are not accepted in the restaurant with the exception of service dogs.
What time can we register with the front desk on the day of our arrival?
We guarantee rooms will be ready by 4 p.m. If the room you were assigned to is available when you arrive, we will be happy to hand you the keys sooner.
What is the latest we can vacate the room at the end of our stay?
What is you cancellation policy?
If you cancel your reservation at least 24 hours before the date we were expecting you to arrive, no cancellation fee will be billed to you.
Will a pre-authorized payment be taken on my credit card when we book our stay with you?

Le Gaspésiana offers 45 rooms of various categories.
Are your rooms air conditioned?
Certain room are equipped with an air conditioning unit.
Is breakfast included in the price of our room?
No. Breakfasts are not included in the price of the room. But you can order breakfast at the hotel’s Au goût du large restaurant.
What are the rates for renting the chalet?

Please note that the rental of the chalet for the year 2022 ends on September 17, 2022, until the next summer season.
Can we cook in the chalet?
The chalet is equipped with a kitchenette including a hob, microwave and refrigerator. A BBQ is also on the terrace.

When did Le Gaspésiana open its doors?
Le Gaspésiana opened its doors in 1948.
How wide is the St. Lawrence River behind the hotel?
From shore to shore, the river behind our hotel measures 46 km (28 miles).
What town is located right on the other side of the St. Lawrence River?
Le Gaspésiana is located on the south shore of the river. Across the river, on the north shore, is la réserve de Betsiamites, a First Nations reserve and Innu community.
Is the water behind the hotel salty?
The water behind the hotel is indeed salty. The St. Lawrence River takes it source in the Great Lakes, becomes salted when it reaches l’Île d’Orléans before entering the Atlantic Ocean.
Can you swim in the St. Lawrence River?
Absolutely! All our guests have access to the beach behind the hotel.
What is the temperature of the water of the river?
The annual average temperature of the St. Lawrence River in Sainte-Flavie is 4,3°C (40°F). Between May and September, the temperature varies on average between 7 and 12°C (44 and 53°F). Are any of you brave enough to go for a swim?
